Mechanic forgot to smear a little fresh oil on oil filter ‘O’ Ring as per factory workshop manual recommendation. It’s always ‘ best practice ‘ for all cartridge oil filter replacement that requires new ‘O’ Ring to be fitted, irrespective of what make of vehicle.
Thank you for your comment and for your valuable recommendation, we will definitely take this into account in the following videos. Best Regards, Autodoc team
Excelent video! Thank you Autodoc for making these kind of simple and in the same time usefull videos. I would be very happy if your team can create a video of replacing the clutch on this particulary model of Corsa D.
I got a 1.3 cdti 09 reg, my new filter hasn't got nipple end on it, just plastic clips, are there different types, don't want to strip it down and be stuck in bits, thanks for any help.

There are 2 types, UFI and PURFLUX oil system, look at the filter housing cover, must be on it, on mine it's says UFI ( CORSA D, year 2009, 1.3CDTI, 66kw 90Hp)
@@Tapkarosh Already found it year ago thanks for the answer though. Just have to remove black metal cover to see plastic cover, it writes there as you said.
Unfortunately, your car may be structurally different from ours and the replacement procedure will be completely different. Therefore, complete information can be found in the service or technical documentation for the repair of your car. AUTODOC

You will need about 3.2 liters of oil for the change.

If I use my hand with full power to screw the oil filter cap it's OK?
It is not possible to answer your question unequivocally, we recommend that you consult with your mechanic.
What kind of oil goes on a corsa D 1.3 cdti that has DPF? I have Texaco 5w-30 that according by page it meets the metrics that the OEM was used.
The oil must be GM DEXOS 2 approved, then it can be used.

There are two different types of oil filter on these corsas. How do you know which one is the right one?
To select the correct filter, you must dismantle the old one and compare the filter number in shape or OEM.

The diesel is a 32mm socket for the filter and the sump plug is T45, not T40
